We hit the bullseye with another great Target find – the Fit n Fresh water bottle filters water for you right in the bottle – great to keep in your beach bag – at only $9.99 much cheaper than buying boat loads of Evian for a day at the beach. Best of all, no more fear of water fountains when you can fill and filter on the go! So is this great or what? And remember, never freeze plastic bottles with water as this can be toxic, just use ice, ice, baby.

I like to read on the beach; especially if I am alone. I love a trashy, entertaining book that can take me away into Never Never Land. My aunt gets them at garage sales for 10 cents. Literally. I love to trade books with friends as well. If I finish a book I love, then I try to pass it on. You can get amazing deals at stoop or garage sales, friends, or - just go to the library – it’s free!
Beach Hat
Pick a hat; any hat! I usually wear my straw cowboy hat on the beach which has been through the wringer; poor thing. Baseball hats are usually good at the beach as well. It is VERY IMPORTANT to keep the sun OFF of your face. Another terrific find at Target is the Mossimo ‘exploded floral’ hat – this floppy Fab & Fru find is a fantastic topper to a day at the beach – and at only $12.99 you won’t be crying an ocean if you happen to lose it!
Sunscreen!!!
