If you are serving a round of Brie, Camembert or any similar soft cheese with a rind at your party, slice the top rind off the cheese and let it sit at room temperature for an hour before your guests arrive. Suddenly, you have a cheesy dip bowl where guests can just scoop out the soft cheese with a cheese knife, spoon, apple slice, bread or crackers. You’ll be sure to get more bang for your buck and waste less of the cheese. Plus, more guests will be likely to enjoy the appetizer since people will be dipping instead of cutting large messy pieces.
