I am a 29 y/o mother of 3. I delivered all my children by c-section, and had a t.l. w/ the 3rd. About a year after my 3rd was born I was experiencing 2-2.5 week long periods that were very painful and very heavy. My ob/gyn had found a uterine fibroid, and removed it. This fibroid was not cancerous. That was nearly 2 years ago. After the removal my period seemed normal for the first month. After that it has progressively gotten worse. I will soak through a super plus tampon and super pad in less than an hour every day for 6-7 days. After that I will spot for about 3-4 days. If I have intercourse anytime after I have completely stopped I will start bleeding for at least a day. My Ob/gyn only wants to put me on birth control pills, which seems to only be to controll my symptoms. Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!
