Think Early 1960′s
Think handbags with a clasp and long leather gloves. The Betty Draper the effect (from Mad Men), has inspired some of the favorite fashions of the season. Accessories are an inexpensive and easy way to achieve this feminine look without dropping mega money. Just shop thrift stores and your mother’s closet to spice up your accessory collection and mix & match your looks to maximize your style!
Have Your Hair Reflect the Runaway
It may not be clothes, but your hair certainly makes a serious style statement. Highlighted hair is out this fall which means you will SAVE a bundle while looking runway ready. Rich, bold, single processed color is what’s IN, so lucky you can spend less time and money at the salon (& maybe even color your hair yourself)!
Fashion Forward
Even though it feels anything but crisp outside at the moment, assessing your closet now and reminding yourself of all the amazing clothes you already have, will help you avoid impulse buys in the coming prime time shopping weeks! You don’t have to be a mathematical genius to make a few simple additions (and welcome subtractions) from your current wardrobe to make it all add up to fall fabulousness!

I actually have started to use my dresses and even tank tops or cute summer tops over long sleeves. I’m glad for multi seasonal useage! The sock/tights idea is one i want to utilize more. great article!
