Spruce Up Your Spring Garden For Less, By Purchasing New Plants in September!

Garden centers slash prices in the fall to help clear their inventory of summer plants, trees, and shrubs.  In September, the ground is still warm, but the cooler air allows plants to expand their roots so it’s actually a fabulous time to plant some trees, peonies and low-maintenance perennials like hostas, day lilies, and daisies. Always double check what’s safe to plant as temperatures decrease, but fall is always a great time to save on big ticket garden items!
