Organic Awesomeness: Annie’s Homegrown

My family loves Annie’s Homegrown Foods – they make both Annie’s Organics and Annie’s Naturals – and both lines are filled with stuff that tastes great with healthy, pronounceable ingredients. YAY!

I talked to Annie’s a few weeks ago to see what kind of coupons they offered.  I was, of course, a little bummed out when they said they didn’t really do coupons, but what I learned is that they do have a TON of Fabulous & seriously Frugal recipes on their website! My family and I have been totally enjoying testing them out….  Annie’s has been great for us because even though a lot of it is convenience style food (boxes of mac and cheese), it’s organic and/or natural, so I don’t feel bad just throwing something together for the kids – and of course for me.

Despite their lack of coupons, Annie’s did have a great freebie to offer one of our lucky readers this week – our Giveaway is a reusable Annie’s bag packed full of an assortment of their products – plus an Annie’s t shirt.  Just SIGN UP for our daily newsletter and leave a comment below telling us what your favorite Annie’s products are!

Some of my favorites from their website – for the kids and adults:

Green Eyed Monsters On a Rock

Spring Grapefruit Poppy Seed Salad - the title says spring, but we actually think it’s the perfect salad for summer.

Lemon Chive Dressing - this works as a delicious marinade for chicken!

Our favorite Annie’s is the bunny mac @ cheese – great tasting and fun to eat!

I love the raspberry vinaigrette and my little lady loves the bunny snacks, or as her playmate calls them “hop hop crackers”.

I few years ago I was diagnosed with a wheat allergy. Eating Amy’s meals has made life so much easier! I love the gluten-free macaroni and cheese as well as the vegetarian refried beans (a weekly staple in my house)! Amy’s frozen rice crust pizza is by far my favorite though!

My favs are the mac and cheese and the little choc chip bunny cookies. They are a healthy snack when I just need a little something sweet in the afternoon!

My favorite are the snack packs. They are the perfect size to keep in the office drawer to head off any desire to check out what’s in the vending machine. Plus, being organic is not only good for me, it’s great for the environment! Would love to see more low sodium product options in the future.

Any Thoughts?
