Being in Europe (UK) we certainly do tip if received good service. That to me is polite and expected. If the service was just ok then usually I would just leave a token amount but if the waiter was pleasant, attentive and just generally nice why not show your appreciation.

I am proud to tip for great service. It is totally cheap and in poor taste not to tip if the service was to your expectations. Not liking it, I understand, but then you should avoid places where you have to leave a tip.

I understand his concerns. However, he is not in Europe, he is in the US. What he doesn’t understand is that typical wait staff in the US is paid well under the minimum wage. In Europe, wait staff is paid much higher, so they are much less dependent on tipping to earn a living wage.

i agree with rick. there are kits at the drugstore or walmart that are a lot cheaper that you can do at home. wearing a nite guard is important. i clench my teeth & the night guards help a lot. i once paid $700 for one my dentist made (like 10 yrs ago) now i buy them myself & do it at home. best of luck!!!!!

A little trivia trick I learned the hard way is if you like Black and Tans, that layered dark and light beer mix, you can’t use bottled guiness as your dark blend, but must use the canned guiness with the nitro flush in it. Without the nitriogen flush, the brew won’t layer. Any light color beer will work for the 2nd ingredient.

$100 sounds too expensive even for a garage. Go to the local drug store and purchase a nite mouth guard kit. Just takes some instructional reading, boiling water, self pour and fit, and your off and sleeping. Trust me, doing it for years.
As for the off-putting garage, a little alcohol soak works wonders before use, but save the $$ and do it yourself.
